What 100,000 units are worth

100,000 views, pageviews, or downloads are not worth the same amount. The unit and the platform both matter.

How to use this site

If you already know your RPM or CPM, type it in. The niche tables are for people who do not. They are creator-reported bands, not platform guarantees.

YouTube keeps 45% of Watch Page net ad revenue and pays you 55%. Shorts pay 45% of a pooled allocation. AdSense display pays publishers 68%. Those splits are public. Average RPM is not.

Read the methodology if you are going to quote a number in a pitch. Quote the range, not only the mid point.

Questions

What is a monetization calculator?

A tool that turns traffic or audience size into a planning revenue range. This site covers YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, websites, affiliates, newsletters, podcasts, Twitch, and memberships, plus the RPM identity itself.

Are these numbers what I will be paid?

No. They are estimates from published platform splits and creator-reported ranges. Paste your own RPM or CPM when you have it. The range exists because niche, geography, and mix move the result.

Is RPM the same as CPM?

No. CPM is what advertisers pay per 1,000 impressions. RPM is what you keep per 1,000 views or pageviews. Use RPM to plan.

Do you store the numbers I type?

No. Calculators run in your browser. Share links put values in the URL on your device. See the privacy page.
